What is the best of Xela?
For me, the city of Quetzaltenango is the best place in the world regardless of its economy or development. When you talk about Quetzaltenango, you cannot forget the Central Park (historic center of the town) with its majestic kiosk and large pillars that represent the city's autonomous culture. There are also the Pasaje Enríquez and beautiful cathedral. Finally, you cannot forget the city's unique cultures and customs.
What were you doing 15 years ago?
What a good question.
What will you be doing in 15 years down the road?
Regardless of place, time or our economic condition, I think I will be fighting for a woman that values me.
Who is/was the most influential person in your life?
My cousin Minely Lisseth. She is the only person that tells me clearly what's good and bad and she is the one who gives me advices and really listens to me.
What is the Guatemala's biggest social issue?
It would be education as the government invest so much in military's social works and very little is invested in education.
What do you propose to solve the Guatemala's problems?
To end illiteracy, the education must start from home because its impossible to make a change if parents make kids to go to work instead of going to school in these days in the 21st century. We have to educate parents as much as children. |
